Instructional Design

• Joined MetaMedia Training International's team as a consultant on a Marriott International project. Completed instructional design documents to give an overview and basic operation of chillers (the air conditioning system) used in hotel properties.

Writing

• MetaMedia Training International. Write instructional materials and human resources documentation. Enabled client to meet a tight deadline for a major project. Another project for MetaMedia and Marriott International.
• Senior Copywriter at TAB Books/McGraw-Hill in Blue Ridge Summit, Pennsylvania. Wrote promotional copy for main and alternate selections for 10 technical book clubs in the fields of computers, electronics, chemistry, and engineering, among others.
• Sold more than 70 articles in nationally distributed magazines including Horseplay, The Chronicle of the Horse, and Dressage & CT.
• Several of my stories were nominated by the editorial staff as best news article in successive years in The Chronicle of the Horse's annual journalism awards. Named "honorable mention" one year.
